Michael Budden LLB, CTA has more than 30 years of experience in professional services. He started his career as a solicitor. Once he realised that he had a passion and aptitude for tax, he moved to a Big 4 global accountancy firm, where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. He also worked at a private bank, advising individuals on their tax and financial affairs.

Michael’s other professional passion is education and training and he spent several years at a global professional qualifications training provider. He gets a huge amount of satisfaction from adding to people’s knowledge and understanding of tax and private client legal issues, and being able to explain difficult concepts clearly and simply.

Michael designs and delivers tax and law training courses across the UK, for a broad range of clients including exam tuition companies, universities, CPD providers, examining bodies, professional institutes, national networks, professional firms and businesses. He also provides services such as estate planning, tax advice, wills and powers of attorney for his own client base and clients of fellow professionals who refer work to him.
